Day one of the Kelly Park River Regatta hosted by the Indian River Yacht Club on Merrit Island, Florida. Good steady wind, tight competition and a great barbecue made this annual event another memorable weekend.

Day 2 of the Kellly Park River Regatta showed increased winds but the rain bands and highest winds held off long enough to get in some great racing action.
F16 – Matt McDonald threw out a DNC for a net total of 7 points in 7 races to take the class.
Hobie 16 skippers Pete Haley and Sean Tracy were locked up with 7 points out of 6 races.
Bret Moss had to throw out a bullet to take the A Cat division with Dave Carlson on his tail every step of the way.
Mark Baker took the Open Non-Spin division with 7 points with the rest of the places bein passed around by the fleet. Only 2 points between 2nd and 4th places, Rick Uschold with 21pts, Team MacDonald with 22pts and Mac Mcq with 23pts.
Taylor Reiss also threw out a bullet for 6pts in 7 races to win in the F18s. Taylor was pushed in day one by Sarah Newberry and again on Sunday by David Ingram.
