This website is intended to hold the interest of highly competitive sailors as well as educate youth sailors and guide weekend warriors into the the basics of local regatta participation. We like to focus on the types of regattas we all can afford to enjoy in the hopes of increasing participation in these events.
Experienced racers will enjoy the high end regatta news updates and following their favorite teams and/or competitors we provide from the RSS feeds of regatta websites as well as provide video and commentary from around the world.
New sailors and weekend warriors will be able to access information to get them started on their way to feeling more comfortable with participating in local regattas as well as learn how to “step up their game”. We endeavour to make these sailors feel more competetive by introducing them to racing rules, course tactics and helping them decide what types of boats they will have the most fun competing against. We would like to showcase some lesser known regattas that most of us can afford to enjoy without having a sponsor or a large campaign budget.
Another department of this site is intended to encourage young potential sailors to pursue their ambitions by introducing them to youth sailing opportunities and venues including the information on how to compete on a collegiate level or even obtain a sailing scholarship.
